How does it work?

When we receive an order, we carefully select all products making sure they are fresh and of high quality; we wisely pack the items you purchased and place them in recyclable grocery bags and special labeled boxes getting ready for a timely delivery around the GTA.

We offer morning and evening delivery times with convenient 2 hour long windows. Our deliveries start as early as 6 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. Pricing for each window can be found within our Delivery Schedule

The standard delivery fee is $9.99 and includes delivery and handling, packaging, on-line transaction fee, etc. We also offer discounted windows (starting at $5.99 depending on your area and delivery time). You can also take advantage of our free of charge delivery slots if you select a special extended window and allow us to burn less fuel by better grouping the orders.

Please note that the cut-off time to place orders for next morning delivery is 12.00 p.m. To ensure your delivery slot is available and guaranteed, you can reserve it for 60 minutes before you start shopping. Simply click on the delivery schedule icon and select a window.

Where do your products come from?

You can now get home grocery delivery of peak-season fruit & vegetables, ultra-fresh milk and dairy products, meat and bakery products, heavy cases of beverages and your favorite household items. You can also find personal and baby care products, pet food and litter on our website.

Most of the products we offer, such as fruit and vegetables, frozen and packaged goods, dairy and deli products come fresh from our own warehouse, supplied by the most trustworthy producers, such as Silani, Molisana, Sardo, Frito Lay, Quaker Oats, Pepsi Co and Coca Cola Company, etc. We carefully hand pick each item for you ensuring the highest quality.

Some foods however, due to their shorter expiration period come directly from our suppliers’ stores. For example, meat, fish and seafood.

How do your prices compare to other delivery services?

Our prices are about the same as in a regular grocery store around your area and definitely lower than any other on-line grocery store with delivery service in GTA. Follow our Weekly Deals section as many of our products frequently go on sale.

Am I expected to tip your delivery people?

We are striving to achieve service excellence and keep our customers happy. Under no circumstance tipping the driver should affect his loyalty and commitment to you. Please feel free to provide your feedback about our delivery staff.

How can I pay for my order?

  1. You can pay for your order on-line. We accept all major credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), Visa Debit and payments via Paypal
  2. You can also select Cash on Delivery option or pay by Credit or Debit card at the door.
  3. Corporate customers may request an On Account payment option. Please ask for our Service Agreement to be sent to you.

All credit card payments are absolutely safe and secured by GeoTrust. Our security measures use advanced SSL technology which encrypts your personal information. This includes encrypting your credit card number, so that no one, including us, can see it.

Is my credit card safe if I pay you on-line?

How can I make changes to my order?

You can modify your order no later than 18 hours prior to delivery. Simply log in to your account, find the pending order in My Orders and click on Edit Order button. Please note that orders paid via PayPal cannot be modified.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order no later than 18 hours before delivery time. You can do so by logging in to your account and pressing Cancel button under the pending order. Should you decide to cancel your order in less than 18 hours prior to delivery or if you cannot be at home to accept it, there will be a cancellation fee of $9.99 (plus HST) applied, plus a restocking fee of $9.99 if your order contains any fresh food items that will have to be discarted. 

What is your return policy?

Upon delivery, GMD requires that you go through the order and check it for any items missing or damaged, before the driver leaves. However, you have up to five days after the delivery, or until the expiration date printed on the product, whichever is earlier, to return non-perishable products and two days or 48 hours to return perishable items, i.e. meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, fresh/non-packaged baked goods, dairy and frozen products.

A product can be returned only in case if it is damaged, expired or is of obviously unsatisfactory quality. We require the return of the product with which you are dissatisfied before we substitute an acceptable item or issue a credit/refund. In some cases we can request a photo of the damaged item.

At your request we will refund you the full amount you were charged for the returned or missing item. You have one day or 24 hours to claim any missing item/items. No claims about a missing product will be honored after 24 hour time period.

What if an item I ordered is out of stock?

At GroceryMarket.ca we believe in offering our customers the best products at the best price. Although our goal is to fulfill 100% of each order, given the perishable nature of many products, from time to time these products may be unavailable due to market conditions beyond our control or to their quality that is below our standards.

At times when we have an item that is very similar to the item you ordered, we may offer you a substitution. Your agreement to the substitution will be required during the checkout process. If you are not satisfied with the substitution, you can inform our delivery personnel at the time of delivery and they will take it back. Your account will be credited or a refund will be processed within the next two business days.

If we are unable to fulfill your entire order we will make every reasonable effort to contact you prior to delivery. In such cases when more than 30% of the items on your order cannot be delivered, we will waive the delivery fee in full.

Once you completed the checkout, your price, or price per pound/kg where applicable, is guaranteed unless you place an order for an item where we have inadvertently listed the incorrect price. In those circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel undelivered orders for such incorrectly priced products; we will contact you immediately in such circumstances, and your credit card or checking account will not be charged.

Can someone else accept the delivery instead of me?

To receive delivery, you must be present at the address indicated as the Shipping address in your order. You may elect an alternative receiver located within your building to accept your delivery. Please call us at 1-800-310-8050 to designate an alternative receiver or make a note when submitting the order in the Delivery Comment section. 

This alternative receiver shall accept your order under all of the same terms and conditions that would apply to you should you accept the delivery yourself. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the order is conclusively presumed to be authorized to receive the delivery. GMD requires receiver’s signature and their name printed on a form handed by the delivery personnel. In some cases we require your ID confirmation or your credit card to be presented to the driver upon delivery. 

What happens if I am not at home at the time of delivery?

If you or your designated alternative receiver are not present during the delivery time you have selected at checkout, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to contact you and reschedule delivery, in which case a second attempt delivery fee of $9.99 plus HST will be charged. An additional $9.99 (plus HST) restocking fee applies to orders containing any fresh food items that will have to be discarded. In such case when we are unable to contact you and your order will be canceled and you will be charged both cancellation and applicable restocking fee of $9.99 (plus HST).

Is there a minimum order?

Yes, your order total before tax and delivery fee should be $50 or more. 

However, you can take advantage of our free of charge delivery slots (if you select a wider window and let us burn less fuel by better grouping the orders together)for all orders $75 and more. See our Delivery Schedule.

Do you accept corporate orders?

Yes, we do. Delivery charge for corporate orders is the same as for the residential customers. We provide wide range of office friendly products and best fresh produce in GTA delivered to you not throughout the day but within a convenient two hour long window, which you select yourself.

When will my order be delivered?

Your order will be delivered according to the day and time scheduled by you.

You can select a specific 2 hour long window, which is most suitable for you on our Delivery Schedule page and complete your order.

How does Express Shopping work?

Express Shopping is an option we developed to save you time and provide some shopping ideas. For those who are busy, limited in time or simply not familiar with grocery shopping process and need meal ideas for every day, you can now make your online grocery shopping easy, quick and enjoyable. 

Simply select one of the existing Shopping Lists, place it in your shopping card and proceed to check out. You can also modify the list to your taste and needs by adding/deleting items, changing quantities.

Freshness is our on-going concern and we want to guarantee you that we will not send you products that expire sooner than the following dates:
